Web ChangesThis is where I'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first. 19 Feb 2008 Updated the entire Maryland state list. 18 Feb 2008 Updated the entire Oregon state list. 10 Feb 2008 Updated the entire Illinois state list. 30 Sep 2007 Updated the links for Keiser University in the Florida list. 19 May 2007 Updated the Tennessee page (thanks to Gail H.) links. 20 Feb 2007 Updated the International Degrees page, the Links page, and several broken links under the DoD Fire Related Programs area. 16 Feb 2007 Okay, where did almost a whole year go? The process of updating links begins anew... 19 Mar 2006 Updated Virginia. 8 Feb 2006 Added West Georgia Technical College to the list. 5 Feb 2006 Connecticut (complete), Florida (complete), Georgia (complete), New York (partial), and Tennessee (complete) listings updated including a couple of new links. The fire links page has also been updated. 20 January 2006 Updated the Certifications area including the National & State listings. I didn't add anything new, just fixed all the broken existing links. Fixed some the links in the DoD area as well. 18 January 2006 Texas listing updated. Added CTC-Europe to the International list. 16 January 2006 Major structural changes made to the website. In order to simplify link maintenance I've combined the local and distance learning program areas into one list. Additionally the separate listings by "school name" have been removed leaving only the "by-state" listings. These actions should simplify your searches and they definitely ease the burden of keeping the links updated. Washington, West Virginia, & Wisconsin listings updated. (Thanks go out to Heather S. for the help) Minor link updates and additions to 15 other states and the international list also updated. 25 December 2005 Alaska "By-State" listing updated. 5 December 2005 The lengthy task of updating broken links has begun. No new links are being actively searched for at this time. I'll just be trying to fix what's already on the site. I'll be going state by state alphabetically with Alabama being first and updated as of today. Use the "By-State" list for searching as the "By-Name" list will get fixed later. 4 December 2005 I attended the Fire Rescue International Conference in Denver earlier this year and ran into Rich Hall from IFSAC while walking the exhibit floor. We talked about the need to get this website online again as there still isn't another resource like it. So, I dug out an old backup of the website and cranked it up online. It's outdated I'm sure and will take some time to get refreshed but never the less, it's up again. Now, who's interested in sponsoring this website so I don't go broke? There's got to be an equipment company, book publisher or school out there that would like to have it's advertising on this site in exchange for covering the cost of hosting and publishing this site. Shoot me an email if you're interested.
